Apartments by Savica

The family apartments in Ukanc, in the heart of the Triglav National Park, are the perfect starting point for sports activities, walks, hikes in the mountains, cycling, swimming, skiing, climbing… and a fairy-tale journey through the Golden Horn Fairyland, which is just a few steps away from the house. It’s hard to avoid a magical experience by the River Savica, which flows from the Savica Waterfall. Legend has it that the name Ukanc comes from the phrase “u konc”, meaning “at the end of the world”, as the world was sometimes believed to end beneath the steep slopes of Komarča. It is only a short walk to the bathing area on the western shore of Lake Bohinj, where the Pršivec peak rises steeply. It’s a good hour’s walk to the ever-refreshing and much-vaunted Savica Waterfall. The best views are from nearby Vogel, where you can take the gondola just under a kilometre away, or you can walk. Refreshment from the summer heat is also available at the Lake Bohinj, where boats and canoes can also be rented.
The Apartment House Ob Savici has seven apartments. Four apartments are for four people, three apartments for six people, and the house can accommodate 34 guests in total. Please see the description of the apartments below. All apartments are equipped with a room, a kitchen with a living area, a bathroom and a balcony. If the whole house is rented, a large ground-floor room with a fireplace and a large LCD screen can be used as a common area.
